Colour change - business card

I made the 'Hi there' the same colour as the background, mainly considering if we wanted to screen print this, the fewer colours the better, but also I wasn't sure about how much the white stood out from the rest of the design, and I think this harmonizes a little better.

This is the PDF version of it here - feel free to mess around with it and come up with a few more colour ideas and/or layout aspects.

  1. Makes sense with the Hi There in the same grey as the rest of the card, it all blends in well together.

  2. Yeah, also I'm thinking, buy grey card? Won't have to screenprint that part then - blue might go a bit darker though..

  3. Or the grey card could be much lighter... possibly.

  4. Yer that's a good idea, I'm heading to the print shop tomorrow to find out how much the cyan ink is so I'll let you know, but I think the grey card is a very good idea.

  5. I like this a lot! Altough i still like the playfullness of the hit me up, maybe we should aska a few people if they know what it means though. Grey card is a good idea! what about what kind of finish we want? as in the card as we could go for a shiny glossy finish to sort of match the texture of a real telephone, or dyu think matt or textured would be a better shout?

  6. I think if we go for shiny card it could be difficult to print onto, a more standard card material could give a nice textured finish to it.

  7. R.e. my other comment on the cyan post, I bought some watercolour paper that's 300gsm that I think it could look really nice on.
