I made the 'Hi there' the same colour as the background, mainly considering if we wanted to screen print this, the fewer colours the better, but also I wasn't sure about how much the white stood out from the rest of the design, and I think this harmonizes a little better.
This is the PDF version of it here - feel free to mess around with it and come up with a few more colour ideas and/or layout aspects.
Makes sense with the Hi There in the same grey as the rest of the card, it all blends in well together.

ReplyDeleteYer that's a good idea, I'm heading to the print shop tomorrow to find out how much the cyan ink is so I'll let you know, but I think the grey card is a very good idea.
ReplyDeleteI like this a lot! Altough i still like the playfullness of the hit me up, maybe we should aska a few people if they know what it means though. Grey card is a good idea! what about what kind of finish we want? as in the card as we could go for a shiny glossy finish to sort of match the texture of a real telephone, or dyu think matt or textured would be a better shout?
ReplyDeleteI think if we go for shiny card it could be difficult to print onto, a more standard card material could give a nice textured finish to it.
ReplyDeleteR.e. my other comment on the cyan post, I bought some watercolour paper that's 300gsm that I think it could look really nice on.
