Hope you all think they are ok, they are small but look really great. I was thinking we could use the stickers to cover the sticker book cover. What do you all think?

Sticker issues.

I've been checking the site that I ordered the stickers from and for some reason the delivery date has changed to the 16th (next monday) I've emailed them and asked if they can be delivered by thursday but if they can't should we look at other ways to get the stickers? Sorry bout this I'll try and find out what's happened.

Tomorrow (9th May)

I think we could do with meeting ip earlier rather than later so we can get as much done as possible. What do we all think for meeting up at about half 9ish??

Well there's good news and there's bad news...

The good news is that the mail outs have printed perfectly, I've done two each of the four different sayings. 

And they look pretty great in combination with the business cards (old business card pictured). The business cards are printed, but I haven't cut them out yet because I'm waiting to use the trimmer at uni, so I can only guess that they line up perfectly, I was a lot more anal with the alignment this time so hopefully they do.

As the letterheads and letters go, there is definitely no support for borderless envelopes on Ant's printer so we're pretty stuck there. Also I was working on the letterheads and didn't manage to print any worthy of display, one has a black smudge, another I put in the wrong way round, and the other isn't correctly within the margins so it looks a bit rubbish.

I printed them on the nice recycled paper which is a bit thicker, and I've run out so will have to buy some more tomorrow. I think it works better than standard copier paper because that ripples with the ink on the back. The reverse printing is fainter, but looks fantastic when held up, allowing the light to filter through. Anyways, you will all see where we stand tomorrow. Nothing is the end of the world, but we're not out of the woods yet.

Also, I think UPS have tried to deliver the stamp to my house two times and missed me. Hopefully they will deliver tomorrow and I won't miss it, but if not I can possibly find their depot.

I hope it's ok with you all if I include this as a bit of work. I made it in my art night class at college and it has sorta been a favourite of mine since then. I love the style of collage and it's tactile feel so hopefully this will fit in well with what we do. Let me know if it's not and I can use something else no problem.

Here they are then, the 3 final promotional t-shirt designs all done and ironed. I'll bring them monday and take some better pictures later but thought I'd show you all now. 

And another thought..

What did we want to do with our profile pages, did we want profiles still? We were talking about illustrations of us perhaps. Do you want me to draw some up over the weekend? I could do them in a similar style that I have to the sunglasses etc or make them more hand drawn looking. Or are we going for the super cartoony style that Sara was experimenting with?

Some thoughts on the homepage

Using my images I thought I'd see what it could be like to have some other visual than the business card on the home page, dunno how big the images should be, they could easily be smaller. Also I think I butchered the pattern because I just used Marta's print screens, but I can't tell because of my high contrast so ignore that bit.
